When using the XREX trading platform, you may occasionally encounter situations such as transaction anomalies, delisting of currency pairs, or the need to cancel specific orders. To help you understand these scenarios, we have compiled a list of related questions and detailed answers. We hope this information will enhance your trading experience on our platform and provide a deeper understanding of our service processes.
1. How are transaction anomalies handled?
Transaction anomalies may be caused by system errors, network issues, or other technical factors. These can prevent your orders from being executed as planned, affecting your trading strategy. Our engineers are always on standby to intervene quickly when anomalies occur, with the specific process depending on the product involved:
Spot Trading: If your spot order encounters an anomaly, we will verify the order status and the locked amount. After verification, we will cancel the order and unlock the funds.
Grid Bot: In case of an anomaly alert, we will thoroughly inspect all your grid orders. If any unexpected issues or incorrect execution statuses are discovered, we will attempt repairs to ensure your trading strategy continues effectively. If repairs or continuation is not possible, we will shut down the bot and return the funds.
Margin Trading: Upon an anomaly alert in margin trading, we will inspect your positions. If we find any unexpected issues or abnormal statuses, we will attempt repairs. If a position cannot be corrected, we will close it and contact you for compensation in case of any losses.
2. How are current orders handled if a currency pair is delisted?
We regularly review currencies and pairs to decide on their listing or delisting. If a pair is to be delisted, we will announce it in advance, including details such as the pair name, delisting date, and post-delisting procedures, to give you ample time to adjust. After the announcement period, we will take the following steps:
Spot Trading: We will check all your open orders and forcibly cancel them. The locked funds will be returned to you promptly.
Grid Bot: Any active grid bots will be forcibly shut down (including the cancellation of all pending orders) and the funds and profits returned.
Margin Trading: Any open positions will be settled as announced, and the remaining value of the positions will be returned.
3. What happens if Take Profit/Stop Loss (TP/SL) strategies conflict with current orders?
TP and SL strategies are crucial tools for risk management, automatically executing strategies during market fluctuations. However, interactions between TP/SL strategies and existing orders can cause issues with collateral calculations, so we take the following steps:
If you set a TP or SL strategy and there are other limit orders with zero collateral, we will notify you. If you agree to cancel these orders to enable the TP/SL settings, we will proceed with the cancellation to ensure your trades can adjust timely to current market conditions.
4. What happens to current orders for the same pair during a liquidation?
In margin trading, liquidation is an important risk control measure to prevent users' collateral from being insufficient to cover unrealized losses. When a position reaches liquidation, to avoid conflicts between current orders and the liquidation process, we take the following steps:
Margin Trading Liquidation: When liquidation occurs, we will immediately cancel all limit orders for that currency pair.
5. How are market orders handled if the order book is empty?
When placing a market order, traders expect to execute transactions quickly. However, if there is insufficient liquidity on the order book at that time, it may lead to non-execution. To protect your funds and trading rights, we take the following measures:
After you submit a market order, we will immediately check the liquidity status of the order book. If it is found to be empty and unable to meet your trading needs, the market order will be canceled. This means your transaction will not be executed but canceled instead, and any locked funds will be promptly refunded to you.
