Regulatory Compliance and Transparency
XREX Group’s Taiwan subsidiary, XREX Inc.(鏈科股份有限公司), is regulated by the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) of Taiwan and operates in full compliance with relevant regulations.In 2024, the Taiwan Virtual Asset Service Provider Association was officially established, marking the beginning of self-regulation for the industry. In the near future, the industry will also move towards a license system and dedicated legislation.
The FSC has also published a list of qualified Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs)(虛擬資產服務之業者名單) that are permitted to operate under Article 30 of the Regulations Governing Anti-Money Laundering Registration of Enterprises or Persons Providing Virtual Asset Services. XREX Inc. is included on this list, confirming our status as a qualified operator of XREX Exchange in the Taiwan market.
As a member of the Taiwan Virtual Asset Service Provider Association, XREX Inc. strictly adheres to its self-regulatory standards. Winston Hsiao, Co-founder and Group Chief Revenue Officer of XREX, also serves as the Association’s inaugural Vice Chairman, actively contributing to the advancement of industry compliance, security, and sustainable growth.
Certified Security, Reliable Quality
While achieving regulatory compliance and meeting the expectations of competent authorities, XREX is also committed to delivering high standards in information and asset security. In 2023, XREX Exchange became the first company in Taiwan to pass an audit by the British Standards Institution (BSI) and obtain certification for the latest version of the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Information Security Management System issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
This international certification signifies that XREX meets global standards in managing information security risks and implementing robust systems. Moving forward, XREX will continue to uphold compliance and cybersecurity as core values, holding itself to the highest standards to provide stable and trustworthy trading services.
