User investment profile and product suitability

Understand your risk tolerance and choose the right features.

Do you know your investment profile? Which tools best match your investment goals and risk tolerance?

To recommend the most appropriate products, XREX requires users to complete a Suitability Assessment before accessing certain products on the XREX App, effective from July 31, 2025. Based on the basic information, financial background, and investment experience you provide during the assessment, XREX will determine your investment profile and suggest suitable products accordingly.


Investment Profile Categories

Aggressive

If your investment profile is classified as Aggressive, it indicates that you are willing to tolerate higher levels of risk and price volatility. We recommend exploring the full suite of advanced products offered by the XREX App, such as Margin Trading,Margin Grid, and Secured Loan, to help you find the most suitable investment strategy.

Moderate

If your profile is Moderate, you are open to a certain level of risk and volatility. We suggest using Spot Trading or Grid Botwith spot trading, and exploring Secured Loan to enhance your asset liquidity.

Conservative

If your profile is Conservative, you prefer lower risk and minimal price fluctuations. We recommend starting with Spot Trading, Grid Botwith spot trading, or exploring the Virtual Trading feature to get familiar with the platform. ​​Advanced products involve higher risks and may not be suitable for your risk tolerance.


Where can I complete the Suitability Assessment?

Open the XREX App and navigate to the product page you wish to use.

If the product requires a specific investment profile, a Suitability Assessment button will appear. Tap it to begin the assessment.


Frequently Asked Questions

Q: My profile is Conservative. Can I still use advanced features like Margin Trading or Secured Loan?

A: To comply with applicable laws and self-regulatory requirements, and to protect your interests, users with a Conservative investment profile are currently not permitted to access advanced products such as Margin Trading and Secured Loan.

If your needs or risk tolerance change, you may reassess your investment profile during the designated reassessment period, following the on-screen instructions. Please ensure that your reassessment is based on a careful evaluation of your current situation.


Q: Can I modify my investment profile if I disagree with the result?

A: Yes, you may retake the assessment 24 hours after your initial submission.

However, please note that once resubmitted, your next opportunity to reassess will be 30 days later. To protect your interests, please ensure you complete the assessment carefully based on your current circumstances.


Q: How long is my investment profile valid?

A: The validity period of your investment profile is one year. From the moment you complete an assessment and receive your result, XREX will consider your profile valid for one year. When opening a new position, if more than one year has passed since your last assessment, you will be required to complete a new assessment to ensure that XREX’s evaluation of your risk tolerance and product recommendations remains accurate and up to date.


Q: Will changes to my investment profile affect my existing positions?

A: No. The system determines feature eligibility based on the investment profile assessed at the time the position was opened.


Q: What’s the difference between the Suitability Assessment and the self-assessment test?

A: The Suitability Assessment evaluates your risk tolerance to recommend suitable products.

The self-assessment test, on the other hand, is used to confirm your understanding of specific products and their risks before you start trading with them.

Please note that to use Margin Trading, Secured Loan, and other advanced features, you must complete both the suitability assessment and the relevant self-assessment as instructed in the app.

If the product page allows you to trade directly, it means you’ve already passed the required assessments.
