How do I manage my DCA plan?

You can manage your DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) plans in XREX. Currently, the supported actions include Pause Plan, Duplicate Plan, and End Plan.

Pause a DCA plan

Pausing a plan is useful when you want to temporarily stop the deductions but plan to continue using the same DCA plan in the future. If you previously reserved funds for this plan, pausing the plan will not automatically return the reserved funds to your main wallet. To return reserved funds to your wallet, please refer to “How to pre-fund my DCA plan?”

  1. On the XREX App home page, tap Finance at the bottom

  2. Tap the DCA tab

  3. Tap My plans

  4. Find your plan under Active, Paused, or Ended

  5. Tap Manage plan

  6. Tap Pause Plan

  7. Tap Pause Plan again to confirm

Duplicate a plan

You can duplicate a DCA plan you’ve previously created—whether it is Active, Paused, or Ended—to replicate the same investment strategy or increase your total investment amount. To do so, follow the steps below:

  1. On the XREX App home page, tap Finance at the bottom

  2. Tap the DCA tab

  3. Tap My plans

  4. Find your plan under Active, Paused, or Ended

  5. Tap Manage plan

  6. Review the plan details and tap Continue

  7. Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service, then tap Confirm Plan

  8. Done. Your plan is set up!

If you’d like to pre-fund the plan after it’s set up, please refer to “How to pre-fund my DCA plan?”

End an active plan

  1. On the XREX App home page, tap Finance at the bottom

  2. Tap the DCA tab

  3. Tap My plans

  4. Find the plan you want under Active

  5. Tap End Plan

  6. Tap End Plan again to confirm

Other questions about managing plans

Can I edit my DCA plan settings (e.g., frequency)?

No. Currently, DCA does not support directly editing the frequency, investment amount, or reserved-funds amount. If you want to change your plan settings, you will need to end the current plan and then create a new one, duplicate the old plan, or cancel reserved funds to make adjustments.
