Please refer to the Important Notes section below and ensure that you have completed your identity verification and enabled your two-factor authentication (2FA) to deposit New Taiwan dollars (TWD) in XREX.
Steps to deposit TWD into XREX wallet:
Login to XREX and click on Deposit. You can also opt to click on Wallet and select Deposit.
Select TWD.
If you already have a verified TWD bank account, please proceed to step 4.
If you haven't added a bank account yet, click on Set an account now and provide your bank account details. You can refer to How to add a New Taiwan dollar (TWD) bank account? for further instructions.XREX is currently partnering with Far Eastern International Bank however, your bank account is not limited to this bank; you can add also an account from any bank. Please note that XREX only accepts bank accounts held in your name.
You should be able to find your TWD deposit account details on the Deposit info page. Kindly be reminded to pay close attention to your single and daily deposit limits as XREX will refund the entire deposit amount with a handling fee if these limits are exceeded. XREX users can click here to check your remaining limits.
Please transfer your preferred deposit amount to the bank account provided. This amount shall be reflected in your XREX wallet upon transferring and verifying successfully.
Congratulations! You've successfully completed the TWD deposit process. You will be notified once the funds have been credited to your wallet.
Important notes
Deposits are only accepted via automated teller machines (ATM) and online banking. Counter remittances are not available, and we do not accept transfers through third-party platforms (e.g. JKOPay, Taiwan Pay, Line Pay, etc.).
XREX only accepts deposits from the bank account that has been verified in XREX. Any deposits made from the wrong account will result in the deposit being rejected. Please note not to share your deposit account with other users as each user has their own unique personal deposit account and the account numbers are different for each individual.
XREX only accepts deposits from bank accounts held in your name and the account name must match your XREX identity verification. Any deposits made through third-party accounts will be refunded and may take approximately 1-3 business days. Please note that XREX will deduct the transaction fee directly from your refund.
The minimum deposit amount is 1 TWD and there is no deposit fee for TWD deposits. Please be aware of the limits for single, daily, and annual transactions. If the remittance exceeds these limits, the entire amount will be refunded, and XREX will deduct the transaction fee directly from your refund.
Reminder on fiat currency limits
Due to compliance considerations, spot trading orders and exchange transactions for other types of fiat currencies will be temporarily suspended for 24 hours when you use a specific fiat currency to place a spot trading order or complete an exchange transaction as shown in the figure below:
For example:
If you place an order to buy BTC with TWD on 3 August 2023 at 3:30 pm, you will not be able to use USD for trading or conversion until 4 August 2023 at 3:30 pm regardless of the order status.
Even though USD/TWD trading or conversion is restricted, Fiat deposits and withdrawals are not subject to this restriction. Meaning that you can still perform Fiat deposits and withdrawals in USD/TWD during the period when your trading or conversion is restricted.
