Requirements for Personal Identity Verification
After successfully signing up, you'll need to complete identity verification. The requirements vary based on your nationality and country of residence. You can follow the instructions in the app to proceed. Below are the required documents for users of different nationalities:
If your nationality is Taiwan:
Proof of Identity (PoI): National identification card, front and back.
Secondary Identity Document: You may need to submit a secondary ID.
Please follow the instructions to upload your passport with at least six months of validity (including the signature page and ensuring it is signed), or upload both sides of your driver's license.Liveness check: Your face should be clear of masks, sunglasses, and face covers.
If you are a foreign national residing in Taiwan:
Proof of Identity (PoI): Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) with at least three months of validity, front and back.
Passport: Valid for at least six months, including name and signature pages. Please ensure the signature field is signed.
Liveness check: Your face should be clear of masks, sunglasses, and face covers.
If neither your nationality nor your place of residence is Taiwan:
Proof of Identity (PoI): Passport with at least six months of validity, or government-issued identity card.
Proof of Address (PoA): Bank statement or utility bills issued within the last 3 months, or government-issued identity card. Kindly note that the same document cannot be used to confirm both your identity and address. Please refer to What documents are considered sufficient as proof of address (PoA)? for more information.
Liveness check: Your face should be clear of masks, sunglasses, and face covers.

Please note that the required identity verification documents may vary based on the jurisdiction and laws of your country or region.
Some users may be required to submit a secondary ID and proof of address. If this option does not appear in the app, it is not required.
